The welfare of each and every child is the prime concern of all employees of the nursery. We aim for our pastoral care to be second to none. Given that for every child, happiness is fundamental to their development, the emphasis is placed on the availability of all staff members to help children with individual problems. Regular meetings are held with staffs to specifically discuss children’s progress and welfare.
We are very aware that child often gets bumps and bruises – this does happen at nursery and also at home. If your child has a bump/bruise or other wounds when arriving at the nursery we’d really appreciate being informed. Bumps and bruises noticed on a child without being pre-informed will be recorded and if deemed appropriate reported to outside agencies. Our safeguarding policy would be strictly followed in implementing this.
